Bridgehampton National Bank

FAQs

BNB is a community bank based on Long Island. What is a community bank?

A community bank is local. That means it is committed to supporting and giving back to the communities it serves. The staff of the branches is local, the decision-making is local – which means that you are not just a number; you are a customer with a face and a name.

How is BNB different?

For more than 100 years, BNB has had the same mission: to support local Suffolk County businesses and individuals and help them grow and thrive in the neighborhoods where they live and work. That partnership makes for a strong community. We pride ourselves on our long-term relationships. In fact, many generations of the same family or business have been customers of the bank. Another important fact is that loan and account decisions are made right here on Long Island, unlike many large institutions. So, as a customer you can be assured that someone knows who you are and what your financial needs are.

Many banks have had financial problems. How strong is BNB?

This institution is very strong. In fact, we were named one of the top 200 community banks in the country by American Banker. We are one of the few banks that is actually growing. Click here for more specific financial data.

Does BNB have all the "bells and whistles" of larger banks like online banking and bill pay?

Absolutely. We may have been around for more than 100 years, but we have not been standing still. We make it a point to keep up with our customers' needs and with technology, and we are constantly reinvesting and improving. From remote deposit capture to online banking and bill pay and state-of-the art security protection, BNB has everything a banking customer needs.

Where is the bank located?

BNB has 21 locations (and counting) throughout Suffolk County, Long Island. We also have an extended network of ATMs. Click here for a list of branch and ATM locations. We also are lending further west into New York City.

Do you offer any special services?

In addition to a full menu of deposit and loan products, BNB offers Merchant Services for business credit card processing, Bridge Investment Services offers guidance on planning and saving for the future, and Bridge Abstract provides title insurance services for real estate purchases.

How can I get in touch with someone about opening an account or taking out a loan?

You can find the most convenient branch by simply putting in your ZIP code in our branch locator. This will not only give you options in terms of location, but it will also provide names and phone numbers of the branch manager and lender for your area. Give them a call. They will be happy to personally answer your questions.
